Loved by anime fans young and old, Studio Ghibli is likely one of the most iconic anime studios to have ever come from Japan.  With Hayao Miyazaki as one of the co-founders, winner of numerous awards and distinctions in many countries for his work, the Studio has a lot going for it.  We discuss the past, present and future of this studio, with our thoughts on the films and directors who’ve had a hand in shaping it.  A new host, Dynomite, joins us to do so.

After, Dynomite does an impromptu interview with Chiaki and Mitsugi on their trip to Japan.  How to sum up a trip to Japan in one word?  What they encountered?  And the experiences they had, anime related and otherwise.

Finally, the episode rounds out with reviews on animes from the Winter 2009 season.  All this and more!

Things are a bit different this week as Super Happy Anime Fun Time has gone video! Thats right, we are now a weekly video anime podcast and the first video podcast in the ADD Network. We’re really happy to have made the change over to full video.
